Chigs Daal Fry

Ingredients:
2 cups Daal
2 Tomatoes
water
salt
Red chilli
1 Onion
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Green Chilli
Garam Masala
4 Cloves
Cinamon stick
Bay leaves
Cumin seeds
mustard seeds
Fenu greek

Procedure
# Wash and Soak daal in water.
# Fine Cut Onions, Garlic, and green chillis.
# Cut Tomatoes in two halves.
# Add Tomatoes, daal, turmeric, salt to boil for two whistles (Water 5 - 6 cups).
# Grind 4 cloves, 5 mm by 5 mm cinnamon stick, bay leaves, and few fenu greek seeds.
# Heat oil, when oil is hot, reduce flame and put cumin seeds and mustard seeds to splutter.
# Now put the grinded masala.
# Mix it for a while, and then add onions, garlic, and chiills. (leave little, garlic and chills to add a little later)
# cover the vessel with lid, stir few times after a while.
# now add a little oil and increase the flame.
# Now add the boiled daal.
# stir it for a while.
# Cook it with covered lid.
# Remove the cover later to adjust the water level.

The daal fry is ready, It goes well with plain Parathas, Tandoori Rotis and rice.
